Pantera`s Pizza in Edwardsville

Still the best pizza in the area. The 5 pound large Hunk Combo is a wonder to behold. In the late 70's, it was a 7 1/2 pound pizza that could feed a family of 4 and have some to take home.

So delicious! Just like I remembered from when I was a kid. One of my new favorite places to eat!

Only giving one star because I have to in order to review! First time here will be my last ordered the hunk it was junk! Chesse barley melted the tomatoe sauce tasted like paste. The skin on the hot wings were slimy not at all what we expected or what we heard it was going to be very disappointed, so bad we didnt even get a to-go box to take the leftovers or finish our food and left hungry. Large hunk 2 salad bars 4 drinks and an order of wings for almost $60! Save your money not worth it overpriced and taste terrible the staff was friendly but food was horrible!

Great place for families. Food is great. Helped out with our pizza fundraiser and had the kids in to help with putting them together. It was a great way for the kids to put in a little effort. I really appreciated the Pantera’s manager that helped us out this morning.

The only buffet that is any good anymore. Usually go here for lunch. Pizza is very good. Also if you want a good take home pizza the big hunk is amazing.

Love going here for the buffet. There is a small salad bar included in the price of the buffet. It's not a huge salad bar, very basic really. They are good at keeping fresh pizza out. There is also spaghetti and sauce out with the pizza. Breadsticks sometimes seem a tad doughy, but they are pretty good if they put a lot of garlic and parmesan on them. No dessert except for dessert pizza and I don't mean the kind with fresh fruit. It's more of a warm fruit compote on dough.

The pizza here is decent, not the best but absolutely not bad either. They offer a lunch buffet that looked as though it had a lot of options including dessert. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. It is spacious and kid friendly with a little arcade area to the side. We will definitely be back.

The best pizza ever. Very efficient always made fresh and hot to order. Staff and management are always friendly. Will always buy from them.

The buffet is great. The variety of pizza and sides and the salad bar are always satisfying. The place is clean, organized, and the staff is very professional.

LOVE this pizza! The Hunk is the best, the sausage they use is so delicious! Kind of a loud and crazy atmosphere with kids running loose everywhere, but if you know that in advance the pizza makes it all worth it!

Everything was excellent! All the vegetables on the salad bar were fresh. The pizza was one of the best I have had! Workers were friendly and courteous.

Laid back pizza joint that has been in business for a long time. Mon-Wed dinner buffet is a great value with good variety. Went to many little league and birthday parties here as a kid and still enjoy it today.

The pizza was delicious this time. We ordered the hunk with extra cheese and it was loaded with cheese. It definitely depends on who's making the pizza. We usually order the hunk with extra cheese and it never taste the same. But today OMG, just delicious!!!

The food is good but long wait

When we went there, it was a friend's birthday. We got pizzas, and brought in cake. The staff were really nice, and there was a small arcade by the bathrooms. This was my first time being there, and it was amazing! The pizza was more loaded with toppings.

Pizza was cheesy and hot. Gotta be quick thou cause it's a buffet.

Worst pizza I ever ate. It made me sick. The crust was like shoe leather and it was over priced.

Never had a bad pizza from them yet. Their pizza can be a little greasy but a napkin can fix that quick. Their buffet is great as well, DON'T be afraid to ask for a pizza, they'll do it without question and is far superior to other buffet style pizza places. Unfortunately the spaghetti isn't that great and can be stale time to time.Try the cinnamon bread, it's probably adding tons of calories but it's a nice "treat". The salad bar has a reasonable assortment, peak times you may need to prompt for a refill (happened twice in over 12+ visits).Delivery area could be a little larger as well. Maybe consider more soda options??

We drove almost 4 hours from Watseka IL. to get pizza for our friends, family and us. Let me tell you it was well worth the drive!! The girl at the register was so friendly and helpful! We had a Panteras in our town in the 80's and early 90's and we miss it very much!! Pizza was just how we remembered it being. Will definitely make the trip again!!

Went for the Buffet. Salad bar was a mess & topping were slim. What pizza was left was cold & looked completely unappealing. Was more than 20 minutes from when I asked if they were going to put more pizza out until they actually did. It was noon on a Thursday afternoon?!?! 🤷‍♀️

The M-W weeknight buffet is great! The aesthetic is timeless. They also have a small arcade and jukebox.

We ordered the Hunk 🍕 and were served a piping hot 🍕 15 minutes later. We had enough leftover to happily take home. Thanks.

We had the regular crust which was dense and doughy but firm. Tried the veggie and the combo. Both had really good toppings the space is nice and open. Lighting is a little dark. Service was quick and friendly. Gave us the option of keeping our extra pizza in the oven while we ate.

We normally go to the Pantera’s on the Missouri side but went here with family tonight. I absolutely LOVE the pizza there, but here it really didn’t work for me. Too much sauce and it arrived lukewarm at best. My wife got the salad and she said it was the same as back home, so you get three stars for that.

Their pizza was very good . The help was friendly and very attentive which makes one feel like l like this place and would be glad to come again. And by the way, they have a really nice salad bar. Between a really good salad and a nice slice of your favorite pizza, you will be leaving fully satisfied. Go ahead and give them a try if you haven't been there before.

The Hunk is amazing!

Very inexpensive place. The buffet was only $7 or $8 for salad and pizza. Salad wasn't bad. I don't prefer their thin crust pizza because I didn't grow up with it. Many people is this region prefer it.
